PLANET on kehittänyt teknologian (Long Reach PoE), jonka
avulla vanhat kuparikaapelit voidaan hyödyntää IP-
kameraverkkojen rakentamisessa. Tekniikan avulla vanhoissa
kaapeleissa voidaan datan lisäksi siirtää IP-kameroiden
tarvitsema PoE/PoE+ virransyöttö. Tekniikka vaatii
toimiakseen vähintään 2x kupariparin (4-johdin) yhteyden.
PLANET LPR-101U-KIT on tuotepaketti, jonka mahdollistaa data
yhteyden ja PoE-tekniikan välittämisen
kupariparin/kupariparien avulla.
